Wall Street
Native New Yorker. I started in 1993 as COO of Argonaut Capital Management and spent the next three decades inside hedge funds and alternative investments, including Partner and COO of First New York Capital. In the summer of 1997 the Asian contagion took my job and my savings, and I made a decision: not on my clock. That decision, and a childhood spent reading whether people could be trusted around my brother Michael, is why I can sense when a client has something to give and is afraid to give it. Since 2006 I have led Global Fund Exchange Holdings, and I founded The Magnum Vault to bring that Wall Street rigor to entrepreneurs.

I said no to more than five thousand fund managers. Almost none of them lacked talent. They would not let me see who they were.

03The question
Her father asked
Years ago I was coming home after midnight, successful by every external measure. My father was staying with me. He asked whether I was happy, and he did not buy my answer, so he asked where the joy, the purpose and the greatness I was born with had gone. I cried myself to sleep. He died at the end of 2015, and his question lives inside every framework I teach. Life and Business on Your Terms started that night.

Home
Three golden retrievers (Romeo, Galileo and Giuseppe), backcountry skiing, hiking a mountain for the sake of it, and cooking on Sundays: a table that is colorful, has texture and gets people talking. I love wine, travel, history, architecture and food in different cultures, and I build playlists that take people on an emotional journey. Anric is my husband and my business partner, so most days are both.
